Step 1
Escrow locks the currency
The moment an order opens, the seller's game currency moves into escrow. In a CELL trade the buyer's CELL is locked too.
Step 2
The buyer pays
Cash goes straight to the seller through the payment method on the order, and the buyer marks it paid. CELL is already in escrow.
Step 3
Both confirm, escrow releases
The seller confirms the money arrived (both traders confirm a CELL trade) and each side gets what they bought, less the 2% fee.

Every completed trade pays a 4% fee: 2% from each trader. Half of it, 2 of the 4 points, is burned and leaves the Groot Games economy for good, so the currencies you hold stay scarce and the economy can grow. The rest funds Groot Games.
